I live in Bucharest, not Ho Chi Minh!

I just moved to Bucharest to teach English for a well-established company with an office in the Floreasca area and I guess I'll live in that area too. I moved from Vietnam (Saigon) after living there for over five years. Prior to that, for three years in China. I last lived in California (SF Bay Area) in 2016. I do go back to visit every year. At my age, I'm not so much interested in finding romance as finding someone who, likewise, has many years of experiences, adventures, and relationships and has plenty to say about politics, culture, history, and who is also passionate about, philosophy, science, and society. I would say my best feature is my sense of humor which, of course, would simply be lost in translation to someone not immersed in American culture (not that I am a fan of America, these days), Other random aspects of me: I am a history buff and pay very close attention to politics and world affairs. ! But, otherwise, I’m a barrel of laughs! I am a feminist. I have been therapized. I’m well-mannered and I clean up well. What’s not to like? I maintain a very healthy lifestyle. I only eat real food as opposed to "edible food-like substances" and I'm a light drinker and non-smoker. I also stay very active. I’m a bicycle rider. I play pickleball and exercise every day including kickboxing most days.
