Looking for The One!!
I am a 47 year old single father of three, two are mine, and one is adopted. My oldest is 20(adopted), my first born is 19, and my daughter is 16. As long as my daughter has been alive, is how long I have been single. It was a conscious decision on my part to not try to create another family or have girlfriend after girlfriend coming through the house, but to raise my kids and make sure they were kept in a healthy home. I am a musician, singer, published author (short fiction), a poet (also published), and I am Lakota/Dakota and wee bit o' Irish! I also just finished my first year as a teacher! I teach out native language to a school that has never had it taught there before. My mother and father have both passed away, as did my oldest brother. I am forever searching for The One. She is out there, somewhere - and I hope to find her. She doesn't have to be a supermodel or any such a woman, but she has to understand that I do not want any more children. It would not be fair to the baby because I am older. She has to like to laugh, love movies, and love music(with extra credit in liking the blues.) I hope to find her..

I don't want to have anymore children, sorry ladies! I am older, and having one at my age just is not fair to the baby. I'd be a senior citizen by the time he or she gets into high school!

the ability to heal, not only myself instantly, but others as well...

I have never been married - but the idea of it is intriguing.

The best lessons are when you fail at something. You have to pick yourself up, and go at it again. you can fail many times trying to accomplish one goal, but when you do - it is amazing

any age it a good age, as long as both parties are ready for it!

Loud, obnoxious people. People who think they know everything, and those people who always have to try to "one-up" you.

What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
I am a writer, and I have a couple of movie scripts that need to be made! I would love to be making movies...
